RECOMMENDATIONS

VERIFY BEFORE PURCHASING

Please consider that fajas run small. The tables presented here are official brand standards. Sizes for some skus could change a bit because certain designs handle different measuring ranges. But, do not worry, in the description of each product in our store you can find a link to the corresponding size chart. It is important that you always verify your size before purchasing any new garment.

SIZE OF CLOTHING

As you can see, the measurement charts of some fajas brands show equivalences with clothing size. However, outerwear is meant to represent your style: You might have long, baggy dresses in your wardrobe, or tight-fitting blouses and pants. On the other hand, the faja serve to shape and stylize the body, and it is a fundamental requirement that they adapt correctly to your curves. They have to fit snug to your body. For this reason we recommend that you do not choose your fajas size based solely on clothing size. Check the charts and find the size that matches your body measurements.

COMPRESSION LEVEL

The level of compression. Fajas can be of high, medium or low compression. The levels are due to the material with which the girdle is made which can be more or less rigid. Also, the range of measurements for sizes is different. Therefore, a size S high compression faja will tighten more than a size S reducing faja. Similarly, you can be a size XL for a shaping faja and at the same time be a size M for a post-surgical faja of the same brand.

TORSO

If your size chart provides for a torso measurement please measure the distance between your under bust all the way down to your hip.
